Using Style Sheets and Colors

data2date — automatic calendar generator for QuarkXPress and InDesignEvery calendar and planner template, every library item, and every mini calendar is preformatted with style sheets. These styles sheets were also applied to the text you imported. Xdata and InData are able to do this because the style sheet was actually applied to the text of the prototype and that enabled Xdata and InData to apply the style sheet on the fly during the import process.

data2date — automatic calendar generator for QuarkXPress and InDesignHaving pre-applied style sheets doesn’t mean you can’t do local formatting, it just means that making global text and paragraph style changes can be done with a few clicks. For instance, make a change to the numerals (the date) of the calendar or planner you are working on. Use the style sheets dialogue box to edit the specifications of a style AFTER you have imported the text. Doing so before import may affect the ability of Xdata or InData to set the proper master page due to overset text.

Just as you can edit the style sheets, you may also edit the colors used in the calendar.
