The Custom Text Database

The FileMaker Pro database is an OS X or Windows application. You can export the text for use with the QuarkXPress 4/5 application, but you cannot do so on an OS 9 machine. Simply copy the exported text to the Mac where you will use QuarkXPress 4/5.

Customizing Text

If you wish to add personalized information to a date, for instance, birthdays of friends and family members, click the Find a Date button.

From the pop-up menus, choose the date that you wish to modify and click the Perform Find button.

To cancel the find operation, click the Cancel button.

You must check the Yes radio button below the Custom Text title if you wish to export the text you have typed.

If you have previously used the custom text field, or if you wish to remove custom text you have just added, click the Clear Custom Text button.
